Visual Controls can Save Lives

Did you hear about the woman in Salt Lake City that was rushed to the hospital after drinking iced tea at a restaurant? It turns out that due to a lack of visual controls, industrial cleaner was transferred into a sugar container, which was then used to make sweet tea. Luckily she is okay. National Manufacturing Day

Three years ago National Manufacturing Day was created to address skilled labor shortage, connect with future generations, take charge of the public image of manufacturing, and ensure the ongoing prosperity of the industry.

Each year Georgia Tech's involvement around this day has continued to grow and this year is no exception.
