Renewable Energy India

Day one, September 2014

With the long-running anti-dumping duties saga behind it, the Indian market is now ready to start planning for a market driven future.

The trade dispute had seemed to split the downstream and upstream segments of the industry cleanly. Now, with an ambitious government in place that doesn’t need to be persuaded on the merits of solar, it’s time for all the country’s solar professionals to come together.

In that respect, the Renewable Energy India expo comes at a great time for the Indian solar sector. Around 11,000 visitors are expected, all looking to claim their share of the country’s PV future. We’ll be keeping a close watch on developments in the market so stay tuned for the latest!
