Calling All Chefs! Oyster Cookoff Needs Contestants!
Saturday, October 4th is the York County Heritage Trust’s 2nd Annual Oyster Cookoff, to be held starting at 10:00 am at YorKitchen in Central Market!
Enter now (deadline September 12th!) for a chance to make your dish, Food Network-style, in front of judges and shoppers.

It’s a preview of the 40th Annual Oyster Festival, scheduled for Sunday, October 19th, from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Agricultural & Industrial Museum!

The York Young Professionals will host their monthly social for September on Thursday, September 18th, from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm at Mudhook Brewing Co.
The menu for the evening will feature a make-your-own taco bar, salad bar and several other appetizers. Guests are welcome to attend at no charge and see what being a York Young Professional is all about.

Bike Night
Rev up your engines as Harley-Davidson and the City of York present the 20th Annual York Bike Night on Friday, September 19th, in downtown York from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
The event begins with a motorcycle parade along Market Street from the York Expo Center to Broad Street.
Grab something to eat, enjoy live entertainment on four stages, or view special bikes on display at Continental Square. This year’s parade grand marshal is Paul Yaffe.

YYP Foot Rally
The York Young Professionals will host their inaugural YYP Foot Rally on Saturday, September 27th.
Check-in will begin at 11:00 am in Central Market, with the Rally kicking off at 1:00 pm. The winning teams can win tickets, gift certificates and more from downtown merchants!
Teams must have 4-5 members. Sign-ups are accepted as individuals or teams.
This event is FREE for members and $10 for non-members. Registrations accepted by email.
