HERC as an OFCCP Compliance Tool!

In December 2013, SoCal HERC completed an outreach campaign to Veterans and Disabled jobseekers. SoCal HERC and NorCal HERC collaborated on this campaign and spent over 50 hours developing materials and connecting with over 150 jobseeker organizations throughout California. All jobs posted on the HERC site are included in this outreach activity and meets OFCCP requirements for advertising to Veterans and disabled jobseekers.

This is a national diversity-oriented conference that focuses on reaching out to and supporting Chicano/Latino and Native American students, which are generally underrepresented in higher education, in the pursuit of a graduate education and obtaining advanced degrees in STEM fields. While we will be there representing all of our members we also encourage you all to attend with your own campus representatives and students as this is a valuable resource.
