With the spectre of anti-dumping duties removed the industry can now focus on achieving its potential.

A report released this week by analyst firm Bridge to India and the manufacturer and developer Tata Power Solar, estimated that the country could install 145GW of solar power capacity in the next ten years.

According to the report, the levelised cost of energy for large-scale solar, is now the same as imported coal.
