Upcoming Tours

Kim and I will be at
  • China's High-End Audio Visual Show from September 19-21
  • Rocky Mountain Audio Fest from October 10-12

I will also be doing a tour of Sweden for a full week, September 22-30! To prepare, I’ve been busy going over itineraries, sorting through music (more on that, below), inbetween filling your orders. Expect to see a variety of cables from our Luminist line, including the 25th Anniversary, Dominus, Musaeus, and a few more. If you’re in Sweden, check us out at the following places: Akkelis Audio (Gothenburg, Sept 24), Balance (Jonkoping, Sept 25), Dennis Brunby Hifi (Kalmar, Sept 26), RC Ljud & Bild (Umea, Sept 30)! Hope to stop by Vinylbutiken in Stockholm, as well, as I’ve heard a lot about them. If you’re at any of these places, give me a holler. It will be a busy week, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sit down for a cup of coffee.

New Website

Well, it’s finally here. After months of hard work, the new website is now live! I hope you'll enjoy the leaner, cleaner design, our updated photos, and more mobile-friendly technology. Some hilights include (our web designer wrote these up for me):
  • User-friendly: Things even easier to find, with a cleaner layout for product specs.
  • Easy navigation: From desktop to mobile, navigation is simple and straightforward.
  • Valuable information: From updated photos for Luminist, Purist is one of the only manufacturers to provide full specs on our cables.
  • Mobile ready: Tablet, phone, or desktop, enjoy hassle-free browsing!

There’s a nice new page about Luminist too, as well as nicer pages for our dealers and distributers. Contact them; you’ll love what you hear.

I Remember When 8 Gigabytes was a Thing

With Rocky Mountain on the horizon, I’ve been spending time going through some of my SACD and DSD source files to prepare just the right database for the show. In the process, I’ve learned a lot about the subtle differences between how Windows and Macintosh handle files, and more about JRiver...and gained a feeling of accomplishment at trimming down what I’ll be bringing to just under 8 Terabytes. As any audiophile will know, that’s quite a feat. Remember when everything came on CDs?
