Welcome Back September !

We hope you all have had a wonderful Summer Season, and feel refreshed, restored and relaxed ! We enjoyed many lovely days of full  yoga classes, with folks visiting from off coast. Always great to see familar faces.
Check out the Paddle Board Yoga article in this Month's Zoom magazine. Thank you to Caitlin Hicks for the inspiration, and support for this article.
Finally, our beloved Jools Andres is setting sail today to further shores. She will study with Erich Schiffman, then continue teaching in October for a studio in Crescent Beach.
We love her, wish her the best and will miss her dearly.

Classes are free all day so come out and try a new class or teacher! There will also be yummy snacks and great prices on YBTS yoga passes.

Celebrate Chanting


From the beginning humans have used music, sound and chanting to open the heart, still the mind and create joy. Immerse yourself in an evening of chanting, meditation and friendship and be part of a devotional journey that has continued for thousands of years.

Join us for an evening of musical meditation and chanting. Open to all! Bring an open heart, an open mind, and a friend.
When: Friday, September 5th, 7:30pm – 9:00pm
Where: Yoga by the Sea
Cost: There is no cost, but donations are accepted.

Sunshine Coast Yoga Festival

Come celebrate the unique yoga community of the Sunshine Coast, and practice yoga with many of our amazing teachers!  This full-day event will include a variety of yoga classes for all levels, local food vendors, meditation within the lush forest, guided nature hikes at Hidden Grove, dancing, and a chance to watch artists work plein air. 

Join Marney on Saturday for a Yoga Nidra class!

Yoga Nidra is Yogic Sleep. It is an ancient form of meditation that will take you into the deepest levels of relaxation while still remaining fully aware. You will become more relaxed, integrated, expansive and present. Yoga Nidra can enhance the healing process and boost the immune system.
