CALL TO ARTISTS!

Hawaii Academy of Performing Arts presents:
OPEN AUDITION - SHADOWCAST FOR THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW AT THE ARTS AT MARKS OCTOBER 29 – NOVEMBER 1, 2014
September 14th, 2014, 3-6pm

Rocky Horror Picture Show is a 1975 musical comedy horror film tribute to science fiction and horror B movies. Interactive shows featuring “Shadow Casts” began shortly after the movie premiered and have been going on in theatres across the nation since. Most often shadow actors are fans that can act out the entire movie. The actors will go from behind to in front of the screen. They sing and act along the moving – improvising when so inclined.

We encourage all levels of fandom, even if you have only seen Rocky Horror once, but would like to participate nightly in the festivities.

Please contact Sarah at Rockyhorrorpictureshow2014@artsatmarks.com if you are interested in more information.

Rocky Horror Picture Show is an important seasonal fundraiser for Marks. It is used as a time to celebrate the diversity of our community, freedom of speech and the power of art.
