Women for Women Dinner and Fundraiser

Join the core volunteers and guests of Lydia's House for an evening of sharing, prayer and dinner at the home of long time supporter Maria Krzeski. We'll gather Saturday September 27 at 6pm. The highlight of the evening will be a testimonial from a Lydia's House guest. Donations will be accepted to support the fresh food budget for the house! RSVP to intern@stlydiashouse.org for directions.

We Need Volunteers!

Over the past month our summer live in volunteers have transitioned on and, this week, we hope to fill our 4th guest room with a woman in crisis. We are in great need of house duty volunteers who can take four hour shifts, especially on weekends. If you are interested in helping out at Lydia's House the next Volunteer Orientation will take place Saturday, September 12th, from 9 am to 12 pm.

Training will take place at the Speckled Bird Cafe, 1766 Mills Ave, Norwood OH.

RSVP to elizabeth@stlydiashouse.org.

We would love to see you there!

Join us for September Worship:
A Moveable Feast

The Episcopal Diocese of Southern Ohio and its Praxis Program, under the leadership of Rev. Jane Gerdsen, will be bringing their moveable feast worship series to us on September 28th from 6 - 8 pm.  Please bring a dish to share.  Childcare will be available as needed.

RSVP to elizabeth@stlydiashouse.org.

Pray with us

This season we find ourselves in prayer daily for the women that we can't serve. Each day we get calls from women with teenage children, women battling addiction, or women who aren't ready or able to live in community. Our hearts break for them, and we are convicted when they tell us "There is no room in the shelter system" because we know it's true. Pray for these women and for our city, that every person might have a safe place to sleep tonight.

Join us for dinner

As we continue filling up the house with guests we are always excited to welcome meal angels! If you'd like to prepare dinner for the house, and stay and eat with us, please sign up here. Meal angels spots are available on Sunday and Wednesday nights and typical meals serve 12-15 people.
