Greetings!

Wouldn't you know it, summer has decided to bring on its warmest weather now that it is on the home stretch. We were just getting used to the cooler nights, great sleeping weather and a lot more comfortable kitchen. But the important fact is that it is still summer, there is still plenty of time left to enjoy the outdoors, and still plenty of time to head over to Fratello's for some good food and wine. We will be featuring this weekend Certified Angus Beef Texas Sirloin, the ever so popular Jumbo Sea Scallops, Black Grouper and Blue Marlin. We hope you have time to mosey over and join us, we'd love to see you!

There is also still plenty of time this summer to enjoy wine as well. I mentioned the Hawks View Pinot Noir from Oregon last week, which was so well received that I had to order another case (which hopefully will arrive before the weekend!), and the Sangiovese based blend from Ferrari-Carona from Sonoma, Siena, has also been a big hit. I have been an advocate of venturing beyond one's comfort zone, at least wine-wise, and we offer a number of excellent wines from Spain, Italy, France and Australia that work very well with our menu. Just ask and we'd be happy to help you find a wine that you will enjoy. Heck, if all else fails, there is always Great Lakes Dortmunder, or Oktoberfest, or Ketel One, or Stoly, or Three Olives, or Grey Goose, or Famous Grouse, or............or how about a nice espresso?
