The Maritimes Energy Association is proud to present the Core Energy Conference. With just under three weeks to go, we thought we would answer a few questions as you gear up for this year's conference. You don't want to miss the dynamic atmosphere, diverse speakers and regional project updates.


FAQ'S:

1. Why should I attend?


The Core Energy Conference is an invaluable opportunity to hear influential speakers and to participate in networking events. You will benefit by learning about developments on current regional projects as well as supply chain opportunities. The conference is a chance to get involved and support the development of opportunities in the energy sector. 

 
2. Who will be speaking?

There will be a wide range of industry experts and leaders at the 2014 Core Energy Conference. Click here for a full list of speakers.


3. What are the networking events?

Project Lobster is the conference dinner which follows conference day one (October 7th). Tickets for this event are available separately from your delegate registration. This will be a sell-out. Click here to learn more. 

The Core Golf Tournament is the wrap-up to the conference. It is held at Glen Arbour Golf Course on Thursday, October 9th. Click here to learn more. 


4. Where is it being held?

The 2014 Core Energy Conference is being held at Pier 21 (1055 Marginal Rd.) in downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia. Pier 21 is also known as the Canadian Museum of Immigration and is a bright and beautiful building located right on the Halifax waterfront. Click here to see its location on a map.


5. Where can I park? How can I get there?

There is a large paved parking lot to the right of the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 main entrance. The hours are Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the cost is $2.00 per hour to a maximum of $10.00 per day. Weekends, evenings (6 p.m. - 8 a.m.) and holidays are complimentary. There is also on-street metered parking available near the entrance. Metro Transit service runs frequently to Pier 21. Click here for Metro Transit schedules.

The Core Energy Conference taking place October 7th and 8th, 2014 at Pier 21 in Halifax. The Maritimes Energy Association’s Core Energy Conference provides an overview of the energy industry in eastern Canada from onshore and offshore to renewable and non-renewable.
