Day seven of the London Design Festival 

We are coming to the final weekend of this year’s London Design Festival. We hope you have discovered, networked, experienced and most importantly enjoyed the Festival so far.
 
The London Design Festival Party at the V&A took place last night and was a fantastic celebration of design and this creative capital in which the Festival is staged. Supported by Ketel One Vodka, champagne by Perrier-Jouët.

Today's talks and workshops theme at the V&A is London, highlights include a talk with Zeev Aram, the owner and founder of the legendary design store Aram and 4pm is the 1000 Londoners film screening - see short documentary films that express the diversity of people whose lives are involved in design.
 
Looking forward to the Digital Design Weekend which is taking place tomorrow and Sunday; this is a whole weekend full of free, drop in events including interactive installations, open workshops, demonstrations or wearables and material interactions, talks family activities and more – so don't miss it!
 
If you are visiting the London Design Festival at the V&A don't forget to take a map from our dedicated Festival desk in the main entrance. This will show you the location of all of our commissioned projects and installations around the museum including Ama 2014 by Michael Anastassiades (above right) and one of our two Landmark Projects this year Double Space for BMW by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby (above left) which have been drawing the crowds this week.
Global Design Forum

For the last day of the Global Design Forum we see two talks comprising Building on Open Source Design at The Building Centre and Ideas to kickstart a sustainable economy at Royal College of Art.
 
Speakers during today talks include Francesco Anselmo, Lighting designer at Arup, Alastair Parvin, WikiHouse co-founder, Zero Zero architecture Stuart Smith, Director, Arup, Carl Turner, Founding Director at Carl Turner Architects, Rich Gilbert from Co-founder of The Agency of Design and many more. London Design Festival events to see across London

With so many events to see over the final weekend, a good place to start includes the Design Districts. These clusters of events allows visitors to walk around and see an exciting group of installations, exhibitions, talks and so on. 

You can also see over 300 events across the city including, Bright Ideas to Make Life Better from Priestmangoode, ultra-indigo presents: Kathryn Hearn - Droves, Drains and Vermuyden; New Ceramics Works from Central Saint Martins, Living Divani from Boffi Chelsea and much more.
