View this email in your browser £16,900 Grant to Feedback Madagascar The Jo Walters Trust has made its biggest donation so far, to a wonderful organisation called Feedback Madagascar, endorsed by David Attenborough. Our donation has funded a community seed bank which has provided 21 communities (3,900 people) in the Amoron’i Mania region with both crop and tree seeds, as well as training and incentives to reforest the area around the 15,000 hectares of Madagascar’s last temperate forest for which they are responsible. To read more about why we got involved, and to hear David Attenborough endorsing this charity, read the full report here. The trustees feel that Jo would have gladly supported this amazing organisation, and are thrilled to have given this grant in her name. Also, if you have something you think you could offer for us to auction, we'd be extremely grateful. We already have some wonderful prizes, including a chance to bike the Commonwealth mountain bike course with the Scottish Champion, a helicopter ride around London and a week-end of sailing tuition. We'd love to have a few more prizes though and can offer lots of publicity to any donors. Previously successful lots have included art, B&B accommodation and a tour of the FCO!
