La Vendemmia – The Harvest – is a time where the community gathers together to harvest the grapes from the vines and when the work is done, tables are covered with food and wine for family and friends.

Our master wine maker, Mauro Salvador invites you to his Wine Maker’s Dinner.

Mauro has collaborated with master Chef Jan – Willem Stulp from Grand Oak to prepare a menu of food and wine pairings: a gastronomic experience of the fruits of harvest season.

Harvest-Themed Snacks and Pick-Ups
Paired with: Vieni Momenti and Rose Brut Sparkling
Pasta:
Farfalle, with Fire-Roasted Pomodoro and Finocchio, Pesto and Romano shards
Paired with: Vieni Pinot Noir Reserve 2012
Entre:
Herb-Roasted Pork Loin, Cured Pancetta and Roasted Apples with Smoked Corn Polenta and Autumn Harvest Vegetables
Paired with: Vieni Briganti Red Reserve 2012
Cheese:
Paron's Aged Montasio Shards, Toasted Filberts and Honey
Paired with: Vieni Riesling Dry 2012
Dessert:
Niagara Gala Crumble with Sweet Pears and Brandy Zabaglione
Paired with: Vieni Vidal Icewine 2011 - Pinot Noir Graspa
All guests will receive a complimentary tasting in the tasting room between 5:00 - 5:45 pm, of a featured item chosen by Wine Maker Mauro Salvador.
