Emma’s Garden is searching for a talented Executive Director to join their dedicated community members, volunteer staff, and board. They are looking for candidates whom have experience in the non-profit world or social justice organizing, are strong communicators and leaders, and willing to lead the charge on cultivating a local, equitable food system.

Rose's Ice Cream is seeking a Short Order Cook! 

Rose's Ice Cream is someone responsible for cooking and preparing meals using a gas grill, flat griddle and deep fryer.  Individual is also responsible for filling and cleaning of kitchen area, washing dishes, restocking supplies, cleaning activities (sweeping, mopping, restroom maintenance) and providing support to servers including waiting on customers, bussing tables, taking accurate orders, preparing drinks and scooping ice cream (cones, shakes, sundaes, etc.), cashier and serving food.  

Applications may be obtained at Roses Ice Cream. 5011 NE 42nd Ave. Portland, Oregon.  Applications MUST be submitted in person for this position. Applications accepted Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 to 9 PM and Sundays from noon to 9 PM.

  • Volunteer your time to help those in need...
    St. Vincent de Paul's food pantry feeds and clothes many of our community members in times of need, in addition to providing assistance with other pressing challenges. The food pantry is a volunteer-powered operation and can benefit from your help.
  • Rigler SUN School seeks After School Volunteers
    Do you love speaking Spanish? Do you want to make an impact in the lives of young people here in Cully? Rigler SUN school does too and we need your help! 
    Volunteer after school - even one hour per week!
    - Assist students with homework, especially homework in Spanish.
    - Support classroom instructors with student supervision in classes of fifteen students.
