Hello everybody! My name is David and I’m the new Academic Coordinator here at Impact. Many of you will know me from the Library or Impactivities, or have been taught by me in FCE or IELTS classes. I’ve been teaching at Impact for six years and love the friendly atmosphere and happy learning environment. I lived and worked in Thailand for two years, so I know what it’s like to live in a foreign country where you don’t speak the language very well.
In my new job, I test new students to assess their English level and then place them in a suitable class. I’m also responsible for moving students between classes and courses. The other part of my job is to help teachers and students with their work or studies. If you are having problems with your course or want advice on your study plans, please come and talk to me in Room 208. I love a chat!

Our BE students are opening a second hand shop at Impact on Friday, 26 Sept. All profits will go equally to two charities, an Elephant Orphanage and Life's Little Treasures (in aid of premature babies and their families). Here's a video from our BE class.
