CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
The Parliament is moving full steam ahead in preparations for the 2015 Parliament, October 15-19th in Salt Lake City, Utah. Volunteers are needed starting immediately to assist staff in our Chicago offices during these initial stages.
This is an exciting opportunity to stretch your worldview, to work with people of a variety of religious and spiritual traditions, to be a part of making something significant happen that can move us towards a more just, peaceful and sustainable world. We are looking for volunteers who will make at least a 3-month commitment to work in our conveniently-located Downtown Chicago offices (70 E. Lake Street), and who will volunteer at least 15 hours a week (or more).
We need people with good spirit and skills to do any of the following:
- Data entry of registrations, information, mailings
- Phone calls and follow-up correspondence
- Writing and social media skills to support communications initiatives with newsletter, Facebook and other media outreach on the 2015 Parliament
These voluntary unpaid positions will reward you in sharing great company, significant work, and of making our world a better world. We are also open to university students seeking non-profit, interfaith, religious studies, communications, event planning, management and related internship credit.
