Doctor wanting to become a software developer...
Last week was the most difficult week since the lauch of our applications for Simplon Bootcamp. After the selection of candidates, we had the series of many, many interviews :) No need to say how extremely impressed we were by their stories, background and projects to develop during the bootcamp.
Here are some of their motivations to join this program:
|
|
- "make a Facebook for blind people"
- "develop apps for my parents, to help them"
- "become a better me"
- "learn how to code, because coding is a means to an end"
- "build the next LiveRail"
- "learn how to make sketches before drawing like an artist"
- "take out the best from people"
- "do something on my own"

Connecting amazing people and ideas
In the end, this is what Simplon does. Creating links between communities, different fields like IT, education, social innovation and business is the way we believe we can foster innovation and develop our local ecosystems.
We are now looking for partners interested in developing projects with us and our 12 future Ruby stars. If you are interested and want to have more details about Simplon programs, please contact us at roxana@simplon.co.
