Other News!

Starting in September, the Bridge for Health will launch a new research project in collaboration with some local community partners, as well as prominent public health researchers from the Netherlands. The Bridge for Health Literacy Project will focus on youth engagement and participation approaches to foster health literacy among youth.

We are delighted to be working with Marlies Casteleijn, a Health & Society graduate student from the Wageningen University (Netherlands). Stay Tuned for future blogs with more information in the upcoming months!

On 26th of September Paola Ardiles, Founder and Network Lead, Bridge for Health is facilitating the Simon Fraser University (SFU) Healthy Campus Community Consultation, hosted by the Health Promotion team within Health and Counselling Services. We are excited to be a part of this event aimed to engage SFU administrators, faculty, staff and students in building a collective vision for a Healthy Campus.

Themed discussions will explore how policies and processes, learning and working environments, services and supports and physical spaces can contribute to well-being, learning, student experience, social connection and a healthy campus community.
