The Association for Media Literacy will hold a one-day conference at theTed Rogers School of Management in Toronto on Saturday, October 18, 2014 called Understanding Media Now: Navigating Surveillance, Social Media and Marketing.

The Science Teachersâ€™ Association of Ontario is hosting STAO Elementary Extravaganza on Saturday November 15th. The event will have over 30 sessions aimed at the elementary panel including sessions for Full Day Kindergarten.

Registration will be $25 for the day PLUS a one year free STAO membership!

The event also offers curriculum resources, playground areas to experiment with new technologies and resources and poster sessions to showcase best practices in Ontario classrooms.
