Connected Educator Launch Week kicked off with a bang here in New Zealand - and thanks to all of you who participated! We had

12 webinars, 30-60 attendees every time, from NZ, the US, China, UK, Australia, Yemen...all now archived on the site.
Facilitated 44 different presenters - representing Māori, Pasifika, Australia, America, the UK, Argentina...
Reached 135,464 different accounts/people on Twitter/Tīhau.
Launched two collaborative projects: Connected Voices, Whatunga Kōrero and #blogsync.
Began to curate educators' blogs inspired by #cenz14 .
..and we were trending in NZ.

And we’ve only just started. With at least 176 events pledged so far from educators/organisations across NZ and thousands of hits already on the popular beginners’ resource - the Starter Kete - there are many more opportunities to get involved.

Connected educator in the spotlight: Story / Best Tweet / Blog post

There are already several exciting stories emerging from educators across New Zealand this month such as this blogging series that’s coming from the Christchurch Educators’ Network. Many teachers are using the month to step up their digital literacy learning and mentor colleagues to do the same.
