Where: Providence Biltmore Hotel, 11 Dorrance Street, Providence
Join the candidates for the City of Providence Mayoral seat - Former Housing Court Judge Jorge Elorza (D), Dr. Daniel S. Harrop (R) and Former Mayor Vincent A. "Buddy" Cianci Jr. (I) - for an interactive breakfast forum focused on addressing issues facing businesses in the capital city such as taxation, regulatory reform, education and transportation.

The Garage...featuring the Knowledge Economy Forum
When: Thursday, October 23 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Where: Hasbro, One Hasbro Place, Downtown Providence
This second installment of The 2014 Garage series will kick off with the annual Knowledge Economy Forum featuring keynote speaker, Dr. Robert Atkinson, president and founder of The Information Technology & Innovation Foundation who will discuss the 2014 New Economy Index.
Following the Forum, The Garage "Strengthening the New Economy" Company Showcase will highlight Rhode Island companies that represent knowledge-based, innovative, global, entrepreneurial or IT driven industries. The event will culminate with a Networking Reception offering attendees the opportunity to meet the presenters, make new connections and expand upon ideas heard at the afternoon sessions.
