This E-News is brought to you by the letters B, HSC & ESL...

This Saturday (Oct 11) from 8am is our church Working B ! All skills levels are required for tasks from cleaning to paving repairs. Our church site allows us to carry out vital outreach and connection ministries, as well as our church services, and so a well functioning site is vital for our church mission. Please put some time in your diaries to serve us with your manual dexterity and physical skill this saturday.

The HSC begins on Monday Oct 13, and with a number of our members sitting the HSC we want to show our support by having our annual HSC Prayer Service during 5pm Church this Sunday Night, Oct 13. Even if you are not a 5pm regular, come this Sunday night to support our brother and sisters as they begin their final exams.

Our ESL group (English as a Second Language) is an important community connection ministry, creating links with members of the community who come from different ethnic backgrounds, many of whom don't know Jesus but who are willing to learn English from Christians, and this provides us with many witness opportunities. The Friday morning class needs someone to set up and pack up morning tea. The morning tea environment provides the space to have the informal conversations, potentially about spiritually important matters. If you can serve in this morning tea ministry can you please contact the church office and we will put you in contact with Katie McDonald who co-ordinates this ministry.

And Finally, Church this Sunday sees us beginning our "Refresh" series - 3 Sundays for us to refocus about what we are on about as Christians and as a Church. Our Mighty Sunday Morning Kids Church Ministries will be back in full swing. Don't miss Sunday, come as a family, See you then!
