A big thank you to Rene and Brendan who have put in multiple hours of their own time fixing the MacBoat trailer so it will last at least another two seasons. The committee is immensely grateful for their efforts.

RIB#1 driving like new thanks to Simon
His day job is keeping planes in the sky, but he's just as useful on the ground and on the water. RIB#1's new steering and gear cabling means it feels and drives like a new boat. Thanks Simon for the huge effort you put in on this project.

Spring Series Results
Big turn out sets our fleets up well for the season
We had strong support for the Open and Laser fleets last Sunday and three races were banged away in a steadily building fresh breeze. Allan and Abby splashed their new Weta and roared around the track alongside close competition in the Laser and Open fleets. Megan was afloat in 'bluey' and accounted for herself very well on the back of a 2nd place in the Auckland Women's Laser Regatta (pictures here). In the Opti fleet Sam reveled in the strong breeze as did Logan in the Starlings. Thanks to all who supported the day's sailing in RIBs, ashore and on the race track. A great way to start the FBYC season!
Results : Laser line + Laser handicap , Starling , Optimist
Open Handicap R1: 1-Matt H, 2-Rob&Dan, 3-Matt HS
Open Handicap R2: 1-Rob&Dan, 2-Matt HS, 3-Rene
Open Handicap R3: 1-Rene, 2-Matt HS, 3-Rob
