Any idea what this is?

Have you ever seen a tea pot window box bird house?
Well, the Perris facility's Sack's Thrift Avenue Thrift Store has one!
Love it!!

Casa del Valle Residential Facility Happenings...

We have 1 male bed available.

The Casa clients went to Valley Wide Park in San Jacinto for the Cat Fancier cat show, to the Soboba PowWow, and to the United Way Food Truck Festival.

Santa Fe (Hemet) ADC Happenings...

Our ADC clients celebrated an “America the Beautiful” theme for September and are looking forward to the new theme for October.

Everyone is excited for a special field trip  to the Perris SoCal Fair and trick or treating at the Administration Department.  Clients and staff alike are anxious for our annual Harvest Festival held at our Perris facility.

Santa Fe (Hemet) WAC Happenings...

The month of September brought lots of work for our WAC clients. They have been busy assembling hummingbird swings, packaging beauty products, stuffing and labeling envelopes, packaging flashlights, assembling bolts and much more.

We are excited to announce our new document shredding enclave – the "Document Destroyer"s crew started the 1st of September.

With all this work coming in, the clients are really looking forward to payday.

Perris ADC Happenings...

The Perris ADC really knows how to have fun in spite of the hot weather.  The theme has been "Water World" and the finale was a luau with water balloons, a Bar B Q, Kona Ice Kones, and a clown.

The new theme will be "Turning over a New Leaf".  At the same time they are preparing for the Harvest Festival by creating a very unusual haunted forest.

Perris WAC Happenings...

The Perris WAC has been very busy.  We had a couple of new customers who brought in a mailer for us to prepare and some teaching tools that we packaged.  Meanwhile, our regular customers had some large orders to be filled.

Our WAC talent show was scheduled for September, but the clients opted to continue working and put it off until October.  We are looking forward to the Harvest Festival.  The clients usually decorate for the event, and the ideas have already been flowing through the shop.  It should be pretty exciting!

The Get Green Crew members have continued on with benches, but were challenged with a couple of new ventures.  We received some furniture that was so broken, that it looked like it should be trashed.  But not to the Get Greens.  They saw the potential, and proudly produced some really beautiful works of art.

The Thrift Store crews are turning the store into Spooky City with the Halloween displays, and have some interesting costumes and other items available.

Supported Employment Happenings...

We would like to welcome our new Program Director, AJ O'Connell.

The clients on the work crew at the new Auto Zone site are doing very well.

Perris "Get Green" crew turns throw-aways into works of art!

Happy to have our Kona Ice Fundraiser!

Perris Adult Developmental Center clients celebrate the end of their "Water Fun" theme with a Luau finale.  We had a (top to bottom pictures) Kona Ice fundraiser, a water balloon game, and our very own professional clown (who may just be our ADC staff member John Chandler).
