HEAVEN TOUCHES EARTH
This Sunday we will have a special guest with us! Ben Kayumba is a Free Methodist Pastor from Rwanda who survived the Rwandan Genocide 20 years ago. He has an inspiring story of survival and forgiveness that we are excited to be sharing. Ben has also founded a ministry (Good News International) that strives to help and support orphans and widows of the genocide, and Northside has partnered with this ministry.
Northside gets published in Light & Life Magazine:

HOPE AND SALVATION
Northside Community Church joined the My Hope With Billy Graham campaigned and showed a film one Sunday morning last fall instead of a sermon. Eight people gave their lives to Jesus Christ that morning.....(click here to read full article)
Spiritual & Emotional Healing Prayer is a personal invitation to trust Jesus in the process of healing. It is opening up your heart, hearing from God, and finding the freedom through healing to move forward more fully in who God has created you to be. Contact Marla for an appointment to be prayed with.
THIS SUNDAY, AFTER CHURCH!
Simply pick up a full bag at the front doors and take it to someone who could use the food. If you don't know who to take it to, Greg Fair will be at the door with ideas for you.
TRUNK OR TREAT EVENT
Wednesday, October 29

Mark your calendars and invite your friends! Northside Kids will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event on Wednesday, October 29. We are looking for 20 people/families who would be willing to host an activity at their decorated trunk or tailgate. This will be a great opportunity to reach out and connect with our community. More details to come soon! Contact Pastor Scott if you're interested in helping.
GLOW BRACELET OUTREACH
Friday, October 31

Northside will again be giving away glow bracelets on First Street at the Newberg Downtown Trick-or-Treat event. We need someone to oversee the activity (training will be provided). We also need people  to be on the sidewalk at 4:00 pm snapping the glow bracelets and putting them together. Then we will need people to hand out the bracelets from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Contact Greg Fair to sign up to help with this fun event!
