Shana tovah! In this time of Jewish introspection and renewal we reach out to renew our ties to the DC area Jewish community.
I write to introduce you to the Hebrew Free Loan Association of Greater Washington. The Association, a 501(c)(3) organization, has been around since 1909, but times have changed and we realized that a reintroduction is due. This resource has been a force for good in the DC community for over 100 years, but the changes in the Jewish community has caused a lapse in visibility over the years.
We are in the midst of a campaign to raise awareness for this great institution which can be a boon to many individuals in need. We offer interest free loans for education (including student loan repayment and Jewish schooling), child extra-curriculars, business start up costs, health care, and many more purposes.
We are available for speaking engagements, and I would love to speak with you or someone in your organization about raising awareness for this resource and arranging the appropriate programs.
