The regular season might be over, but your All Star Dirty South Derby Girls are just getting warmed up! Atlanta is ready to represent at the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) playoffs. Winning at playoffs means a shot at the Hydra, the highest trophy in women's roller derby, awarded at WFTDA Championships. We can't get there without your help!
Atlanta's own Dirty South Derby Girls need your help raising the funds to travel to Charleston, WV, for WFTDA playoffs and then to Nashville for Championships. This is where you come in. You can take home this special edition T-shirt designed by DSDG's own Jammunition, and all the proceeds go to helping fund tournament travel expenses. (Check out the awesome design over there!)
October 3, at 8 p.m., tune into WFTDA.tv to check out DSDG taking on the Naptown Rollergirls Tornado Sirens from Indianapolis. They beat us once in 2012, and then we turned the tables with a huge 149 point win in July of this year. WFTDA is a paid service (cheap) so get a viewing party together to watch your team leave it all on the track. If we win against Naptown, we'll go on to compete for a spot at WFTDA Championships in Nashville October 31-November 2.
