Library Friends

Check out the Friends Second Saturday Sales coming up on November 8! These sales are offered each month from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. The first hour is open to members only. There is a special extended sale date on Sunday, November 9 from 12 noon to 3:30 p.m.  Not a Friends member? Memberships  are very affordable and available on our website, at the door on the day of the sale or pick up a membership form at the Welcome Desk the next time you visit the Bloomfield Township Public Library.

Author Jeffrey Deaver on Writing Thrillers

Join us on Monday, November 3 at 7 p.m., as we welcome noted mystery writer Jeffrey Deaver. He will be here to talk about the art of writing a good thriller. Mr. Deaver will also be sharing with the audience news regarding his upcoming books. Fans of the mystery genre will not want to miss this amazing opportunity. No registration is required for this event so stop on by!

Bloom Financial Seminars

The month of November will see not one, but two programs offered for folks who would like to make their money work for them and ensure their financial future. On Thursday, November 6 at 7 p. m., we welcome Rick Bloom who will share tips in his seminar “Practical Ways to Avoid Running out of Money.”  
 
To follow up on that program, Ken Bloom will present a seminar entitled “Strategies to Catch Up on Your Retirement Savings” on Thursday, November 20  at 7 p.m. Both of these programs will be helpful for anyone looking to strengthen their finances. Registration is limited for these seminars, so sign up today!

National Reading Group Month
