            Theme of the 2015 Parliament

            Sub-Theme of the Parliament
Three Critical Issues of the Next Parliament
Three Main Constituencies of the 2015 Parliament

What is next?

Of course the Parliament is next.

And here is our theme.

“Reclaiming the Heart of Our Humanity”

Yes, indeed people of faith working together must claim the heart of our humanity so that we live up to the higher ideals, for which our distinct faiths and spiritual communities aspire and to which we are all committed.

We gathered feedback from Salt Lake City, our Parliament Board, and our Program committee. We then went back and forth considering about 20 different themes. Finally, we voted on adopting this theme.

More on the theme later, but let us ask you . . .

Have You Registered Yet?

If not, do take full advantage of our exceptional discounts for youth and families.

This is going to be a family summit of the interfaith movement.

Therefore, we have made it 70% cheaper for youth to attend. Spouses get another reduction from the super saver rates, which are already 60% lower than the regular registration fee.

But this special discount will not be available for very long. It will end by November 30, or as soon as the allocated numbers for early registration are achieved, whichever comes first.

More on the 2015 Theme

And here is our subtheme:

“Working Together for a World of Compassion, Peace, Justice, and Sustainability.”

Most of the 2015 Parliament programing will be around three critical issues and three constituencies.

Three Critical Issues for 2015 are the following:
  • Climate Change and Care for Creation
  • War, Violence, and Hate Speech
  • The Widening Wealth Gap and Wasteful Consumption
Three Focused Constituencies of 2015 Parliament are these:
  • Women
  • Indigenous Communities
  • Youth
Would You Like to Be a Presenter in the 2015 Parliament?

Start thinking about what programs you would like to submit for presentation in Salt Lake City.

The Program Committee has finalized the RFP (Request for Proposals). It will be issued next week as the online form goes through a beta test.

Observances, performances, films, music and dramas, panels, workshops, exhibits, and shopping—there is quite a bit to enjoy at the Parliament.

So, start thinking about the programing. And . . .

Register now!

Register now with super saver rates which may end soon.

There are dozens of your friends who would thank you for alerting them to the super saver early rate of 60% off the regular fee for attending the 2015 Parliament. So please forward this email to all your friends.

And Put this good news on Facebook!
Please share this information on your Facebook. Isn’t it amazing that we are more connected though social media than we are in person? Experiencing the Parliament, however, happens face-to-face. So tell your friends to get there.

And, of course, to the college person who is more into tweeting . . .
Tweet this: Reclaiming the Heart of Our Humanity is the theme of the 2015 Parliament October 15-19 in Salt Lake.
