What's happening this Fall at Park Church?
October is here, and as the season changes it's hard not to feel excited about what is on the horizon at Park Church. Community Groups and Mid-Week Oasis are underway, the High School and Middle School groups are gearing up for a Fall Retreat, and the building at 31 Park is really looking great!

As we gear up for moving to our new space, we know that to maximize the potential of the meeting space and our planned morning meeting times, we will need to focus energy more than ever on welcoming and connecting new people. Please put some serious thought and prayer into serving in one of the following key areas:
- Greeting
- Following up with visitors by mail or phone
- Hospitality/Food Service
- Facility maintenance and set-up teams
- Parking lot attendant/host
- High School or Middle School team or mid-week dinner prep
- Park Kids classroom teacher or assistant
- Special Event planning team
We are excited about the formation of a new Connections Team that has begun to strategize about how to do a great job identifying, welcoming, and following up with people who are new to our community. Women of Park Church! Come to Corine Brennan’s house (63 Silverbrook Rd., Shrewsbury) on Friday, October 10 at 6:30PM to share life and faith together, and get to know the other women at Park Church! Dinner and dessert will be served. The wonderful Justine McDonald will be sharing, so invite some friends. Contact Rebecca DeLucia if you have any questions.

Mid-Week Oasis, a group for middle-upper aged adults, has kicked back off for the year - meeting on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. Contact Carol Andrews for times, locations, and more details.

After the worship service on Sunday October 12, you are invited to come to see The Welcome Wagon (writers of Up on a Mountain, But For Those Who Fear My Name, and more!) and Sandra McCracken (fantastic singer and song-writer) play their beautiful music. At every worship service, you'll see Mercy Ministry's 'Needs & Deeds' cards on the info tables. If you have a need or can do a deed for someone else, fill out a card, drop it in a giving box, and let Mercy Ministry know! They'll get in touch with you.
