USA Import LCL Advisory: Congestion Surcharge Fee at Los Angeles/Long Beach Ports
Dear Valued Customer,
CFS stations working with the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach have applied a new congestion surcharge due to the extreme port congestion at these ports. Most CFS stations have set the congestion surcharge to $3.00 w/m ($10.00 Min), which will only apply for Import LCL shipments into Los Angeles and Long Beach ports. Several ship lines have also announced the possibility to add a congestion surcharge for full container loads if the conditions are not stabilized. As always, we will closely monitor the situation and provide you with periodic updates.
