On June 14, 2014, the data that pre-populates Consolidated Plan templates in IDIS was updated to use the 2007-2011 ACS and CHAS data. Due to an error in the updated data, the "Most Recent Year" column in the "Demographics" table on the Housing Needs Assessment screen (NA-10) was populated with incorrect data for all HOME grantee plans created after June 14, 2014. As soon as this mistake was discovered, the database was corrected. As such, any plans created on or after September 19, 2014 are correct.
To minimize the impact of this data error, HUD implemented a data correction in IDIS on October 3, 2014. This action replaced the data in the "Most Recent Year" column in the "Demographics" table on the Housing Needs Assessment screen (NA-10) in HOME grantees' Consolidated Plans with the correct data. No action is needed by grantees to view the corrected data the next time they open affected plans.
The correction was applied to:
- New Consolidated Plans created in IDIS by HOME grantees between June 14, 2014 and September 19, 2014
- Copied HOME grantee Consolidated Plans that are not designated as amendments on the AD-25 screen
