Meet Your Vendor...

Atlanta Fresh

“Grassfed.  Local Milk.  No rBST antibiotics.  24 hours cow to carton.  Delicious everywhere.” is the tagline at the top of the Atlanta Fresh Artisan Creamery website, and for good reason.   Located in Norcross, Ga., Atlanta Fresh takes pride in their fresh, Georgia-grown, 100% natural handmade products.  Magazines and newspapers alike have hailed the praises of the delicious, high-quality dairy products that come in an array of unique flavors and various forms, like maple bacon Greek yogurt, apricot honey Riesling cream cheese and chipotle lime salad dressing.  Visit Atlanta Fresh at the market on Sunday and you’ll taste the difference.

Oct. 18th, Third Annual

We are gearing up for the best yet, Tour De Farm. Check out this amazing feature on Creative Loafing!

"Tour de Farm functions as a hands-on look behind the scenes of urban farming in Atlanta. Many of the participating sites are not open to the public and are offering exclusive access to the tour. This event celebrates sustainable culture and community and even provides a way to work up an appetite between locally-sourced meals"

Featured Recipe

Try your hand at Sarah Dodge's adaptation on Eat Your Veggies, our blog's corner for market produce recipes. Greens are back in the markets, you can try this easy and delicious recipe with your favorite cheese and greens combination.

Arugula + Many Fold Farm Brebis Wontons

serves 5       time 25 minutes

  • 4 cups Arugula
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 TBS olive oil
  • 4 oz Many Fold Farm Brebis
  • approx 10 wonton wrappers
  • soy sauce, optional
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • canola oil or vegetable oil… enough to fill whatever frying vessel you are using
  1. Heat olive oil in medium saute pan. Add garlic and arugula and cook until greens are wilted and dark green. You can cook with soy sauce as well. Greens will reduce to about 1/2=1 cup. drain excess liquid if it didn’t evaporate. Let cool.
  2. Add arugula and brebis to food processor and process until nice and combine, but still kind of chunky.
  3. spoon mix into wonton wrappers and fold up pinching corners with a dap of water.
  4. Heat oil to about 360 degrees. If you don’t have a thermometer, you can always test a little piece of the wonton wrapper. When the oil is ready, the dough will bubble and float to the top.
  5. Fry wontons and set on a paper towel to cool.
  6. Serve plain, with soy sauce or whatever suits your fancy. These can be served cool or warm… either way, they are tasty!
