Lightsource will be recruiting a national network of local solar PV installers to help with its rooftop portfolio push. The UK’s largest solar developer believes that it has found a way of unlocking the huge potential of the rooftop market in the UK and is now seeking partners to help deliver capacity across the UK. Interested installers can find out more about Lightsource’s plans at this year’s Solar Energy UK event in Birmingham. Elsewhere, the STA partnered with the CEBR to launch a major report which looks at the macroeconomic advantages of large-scale solar deployment for the UK. The report calculates some extremely interesting numbers that the association hopes will help catch the eye of the Treasury. All this and much more can be found in today’s newsletter. Peter Bennett |
