In Memoriam: Tim Lee

Tim Lee, a UBC Health Mentor, passed away on August 26, 2014 at the age of 43 after a valiant struggle with progressive multiple sclerosis.

We are grateful for Tim's contributions to the Health Mentors program and Allies in Health Fair from 2012-14.

"Tim has graciously given us the opportunity to understand his life with MS. Through this experience we were able to learn the importance of interprofessional collaboration and the need to address a lack of resources available to people with such conditions. Tim will always be remembered." - Csilla, Dave, Steven and Yan (students in Tim's Health Mentor group).

Our sincerest condolences to Tim's family, friends and the students in his Health Mentor group.
