Kirk Uhler Named SARTA CEO

SARTA's next CEO is Kirk Uhler, who assumes overall strategic direction and management of the regional non-profit. Uhler is also a Supervisor on the Placer County Board of Supervisors, and most recently has been the Owner of Rensa Group, a marketing communications and government relations firm located in Roseville. Uhler's tech startup experience includes both Vidgage and SPI Solar, where he is co-founder, and was VP Government Relations, respectively. SARTA Board Chair Peter Van Deventer said, "Kirk will lead the organization into the next era of collaboration, drawing recognition for our local tech successes, and enabling technology innovation in the Sacramento region."

Amber Harris on Board as CleanStart Program Director

Joining as the newest Program Director for CleanStart, Amber Harris brings experience in energy consulting and advising from New Mexico, and is also involved with the UC Davis Energy Efficiency Center since relocating to the Sacramento area. Amber will continue to support CleanStart's focus on the region's 100+ clean tech companies.
