TYPros isn’t alone in its mission of making Tulsa a better place for young people— and each year, we take time to show our gratitude.
The annual Boomtown Awards are pomp and circumstance, bringing together business leaders, community members and civic officials to celebrate the shared goal of attracting and retaining young talent to a city that has worked so hard to become a thriving community for our future leaders.
Nominated by its members at large and selected by TYPros’ leaders, the winners of eight Boomtown Award categories represent some of the most active supporters of not only our organization but of Tulsa and have demonstrated a passion for the mission that TYPros has championed since its founding in 2005.
I am pleased to announce the nominees for the annual awards below. TYPros is honored to celebrate all nominees accomplishment and hope you will join the festivities on Thursday, October 30. The event will feature tastings from top chefs, wine and beer compliments of Mixed Company and Marshall Brewing Company, and a Boomtini competition featuring area mixologists using Oklahoma made Prairie Wolf Spirits. In addition to the exciting night in store, our organization will also announce an amazing new initiative launching in 2015.
