Where the Wild Things Are
Grow some Good Maui!
Ms. Tricia, from Grow some Good Maui, is joining the Maui Prep 'Ohana as the new garden coordinator. She will be at the school every Friday and will be working with several of the Lower School classes to build compost piles and to cultivate the Maui Prep gardens. Ms. Tricia is teaching the children about taking care of the earth and all of its inhabitants (even the creepy-crawly ones...) and how the weather and environment facilitates the growing process. The students are excited to renew the garden plots and discover what they can grow!

The Brighter Side
It's "zed", not "zee"
Kelly Bulat comes to Maui Prep from the great, white north, also known as Canada. She strives to equip her students with the skills needed for their generation such as:  becoming risk-takers, being knowledgeable and open-minded to others ideas and ways of living, being able to communicate, being balanced and reflective in their learning, developing curiosity about their surroundings and being principled in their work.
