River Canyon Tales 9/29/14
Dear Families,
The last week was really special. On Monday we painted with red and yellow. Tuesday we worked a little beeswax into shapes, Wednesday we made our dragon bread for Michaelmas and started dying our capes in a marigold bath, then on Thursday we ate the delicious dragon bread and finished dying the capes yellow. The boys were busy teaching grasshoppers circus tricks, but when the mortally rate climbed they shifted the energy to something more productive like pounding rocks into fairy dust. The girls were busy playing kitties and digging in the dirt making cakes and pies.

So much fun

This week looks to be a quiet one. No birthdays or extra meetings, but we start a new story on Monday, and look to more fall fun as October arrives.

Please make sure your children are dressed for the weather and have a hat every day.

Also please add my phone number to your address books, don't hesitate to call or text during school hours if you need anything. (970)216-6301

See you soon
