Why do you love to write erotica?
The short answer is that it’s fun. After all, since writers are writing to arouse the reader, and the writer is reading over what he or she is writing, well, you get the picture ;-)

The longer answer is that I spend a lot of my time daydreaming and those daydreams are often full of sexual fantasies. Writing erotica allows me to put those fantasies down on paper and share them with others. I love knowing that readers are using my stories to put themselves in the mood whether it’s for a self-pleasuring session with themselves or to help slowly arouse their mind and body for a sexual session with their partner. I firmly believe that the brain is the most important organ of human sexuality. The body and the mind are connected and if the brain is not aroused (especially for women) then the body will take a much longer time to become aroused as well. Mind-blowing sex is not a mechanical act but something integrated between mind and body. Since we all live very busy, stressful lives, reading erotica is a great way to slowly build the fires of lust and, ultimately, bring us pleasure. In a way, writing erotica is really an act of public service as we bring peace and contentment to our readers – now, that I think about it, erotica writers really should get good citizenship badges. ;-)

What attracts me to the theme of women being dominated and loving it?
Based on my Facebook “Likes,” I have about an equal number of male and female fans so I try to write inclusively. I think the idea of women being dominated and loving it appeals to these fans for several reasons. The first is that I think women are unfortunately often still taught that it is somehow wrong to be free and expressive sexual beings. Good girls are not supposed to want to have crazy hot sex or explore any more deviant sexual desires that might flicker through their minds. They might feel guilty expressing their sexual needs to a partner but, if he or she takes control of the submissive woman, she will have no reason to feel guilty. My stories then become ways for women to explore being dominated – some much more roughly than others – but always, ultimately in a way that gives them pleasure even if it’s a very, very shameful pleasure. I never have women who are dominated in my stories find only pain as a result of the domination because that is not part of the fantasies of my usual readers. The second reason is that being dominated allows a woman to feel that she can just relax and allow her body to be used by someone else. Women often feel the need to micromanage a sexual encounter and that puts a lot of pressure on them for everything to be perfect. They don’t get to enjoy the experience of having someone else focus on them and give them pleasure. In my erotica, the submissive woman can give-up responsibility for the sexual encounter and just go along with the experience without feeling she needs to reciprocate in order to have a fair and balanced sexual encounter. The final reason is that it allows my dominant male readers or dominant female readers to enjoy the fantasy of using a beautiful and responsive woman as they please without ever having to worry about whether she might say no to their ideas. The submissive does whatever the dominant wants even if the submissive might not really want to do that sexual act. Yet, because she allows herself to be dominated, they both end up having hot and satisfying sexual encounters. Really, what’s not to love about women being dominated and loving it? ;-)

 What am I working on in the future?
The Claiming of Angelica, the Supernatural Sleuth: Her Erotic Adventures in the North Pole. This is my fourth book with Angelica. I keep coming back to her because I love how strong willed and yet deeply submissive she is. She goes off to explore the North Pole and will encounter a few monsters, some naughty elves, and Santa might even make an appearance as Angelica is both very naughty and very nice.
    The Claiming of Cinderella which will be part of my Twisted Fairy Tales for the Sexually Adventurous series. Cinderella will not quite be the innocent of the traditional fairy tale and her Prince Charming will have a definite dark side.
    The Claiming of Ishtar which will be part of my new Fifty Shades of Wicca series. Ishtar will be a pagan goddess incarnated in the body of a faithful follower who goes off to confront the greedy industrialist desecrating the forest she so loves.

The Claiming of Delilah

The Claiming of Delilah is my latest release and part of my new Submissive Mermaids of Avalon in Erotic Bondage series. Delilah is a curious mermaid who swims too close to humans and is captured and sexually tormented by them. There is a lot of medical play and elements of ABDL in this series and the tone is darker in terms of humiliation erotica than some of my other series.
