Hi Moms and Dads

This is the last week of the 3rd Term. We close at 10.30 am on Friday and Stay and Play continues as usual until 6pm. Stay and Play will be open for holiday care for the week of the holidays. A list of activities will be up in the stay and Play room for you to have a look at. The children are allowed to bring their bikes during the holidays if they would like to but please no scate-boards- they are just too dangerous in this environment. Causal fees for holiday-care are-R40 for the morning including lunch and R60 for full day. Thank you so much to all of you for your generous support and assistance over the term. We have a short week holiday from Friday 3rd October and then we are all back on Monday 13th October for the final term.
PLEASE NOTE. EMAIL OR WRITTEN NOTICE BY FRIDAY 3 OCTOBER 2014 IS REQUIRED IF YOUR CHILD WILL BE LEAVING US AT THE END OF THE YEAR.

Santa Shoe Box

This year we will once again be organising Christmas boxes for the teachers and children of Rainbow Educare. The details of the boxes and the children's and teacher's names will be outside your child's class room this week. Please put our name on the list if you are able to fill one of the boxes. We will be handing the boxes over with the help of 'Father Christmas,' during the last week of November. Finished Christmas boxes can be brought in to the office. Thanks in advance for your generosity.

Saturday 18th October  9am-11am, we will be having our annual Tour De Fish Hoek bike rally. This is a fun morning for the children and the families of Fish Hoek Pre-Primary to enjoy. It is a morning of riding and cheering!!
The children bring their bikes /or scooters to school, and we have a practice during the morning, keep the bikes overnight, and set them up along a track for Saturday when friends and family are invited to cheer the children on and enjoy a bacon roll, doughnut and coffee. We will be having the rally at False Bay College as they have a safe area where the children can ride and have fun.
We will need help on the day to make and serve the food and drinks that will be on sale during the morning. Please have a look outside your child's classroom for more details. In the mean time please have a look at your child's bike, check it is in working order and use the opportunity of the holidays to take them for a ride in preparation for a much loved event.

Ingrid’s cell number in case you need it is 0835053451.

SOUP FOR RAINBOW EDUCARE
We have had a very generous donation of Denny Mushroom soup from Michael Parker this week, so we will not need soup for a few weeks. We have decided to collect fruit instead. Robynne will provide the yoghurt.
Please could you pack in an extra fruit on Mondays and Tuesdays. Thank you!!

SPARE CLOTHES
Please remember to pack in some spare clothes for your child each day, particularly the younger ones. The children often need to change for various reasons and it becomes a little tricky when there is nothing for them to wear!!!

FACEBOOK
We love sharing pictures from the school day. Teachers only put photos up on Facebook once a week. Any parent who does not want their child’s photos to appear on Facebook should let their teacher know. www.facebook.com/fhpps.
