Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a professional ballet dancer?  World Ballet Day Live gives viewers a sneak peek into 5 major ballet companies from around the globe.

On October 1st, five ballet companies streamed their company classes and rehearsals, interviewed dancers, and gave a peek into the daily life of ballet dancers.  Each of the five participating ballet companies streamed for a four hour block of time.  If you missed the live stream, the footage will also be posted on YouTube soon.  The ballet companies participating in World Ballet Day Live are:

  • The Australian Ballet
  • Bolshoi Ballet
  • The Royal Ballet
  • The National Ballet of Canada
  • San Francisco Ballet
This is an excellent opportunity for young dancers to see behind the scenes of a professional ballet company!
