Shannon's Gorgeous Me Makeover

We had a lovely time getting to know Shannon last week during her Gorgeous Me makeover - a bright, bubbly, softly spoken Canadian-Kiwi with a zest for life. We get immense pleasure watching our models transformations unfold; it's what wakes up within them that most excites us, they finally see what everyone else already does. What most surprised Shannon was how fabulous she looked in fitted garments, "even though [she's] a size 16" (her words, not ours). Check out her makeover.

A Change May Be Just Around The Corner

Some of you may recall this wee gem from a few months back. Well it came true for Lisa and her family. Hubby secured a job in Auckland so these Wellingtonian's, born and bred, are off to Auckland for the start of the new year. "A new adventure for us", says Lisa.

So, as of next year, Lisa will be available for Styling appointments in Auckland. Don't worry Wellingtonians, she'll still be back for regular visits.

Penny, last month's makeover model, fronted us this week with this lovely gift for Lisa - a tea towel.

"Too right", says Lisa.

Wardrobe Review & Styling-Shopping Session

â€œMy wardrobe needed a good clear out and I wanted to work out what kind of clothes I should be buying to help me look and feel fabulous. I really enjoyed my wardrobe session with Lisa where we went through each of my items and worked out what was working for me, what wasn't quite doing the job and what pieces would be a good idea for me to purchase. A few weeks later I also did a two-hour shopping session with Lisa to pick up some pieces to help complete my wardrobe and to hone my 'shopping technique'. It was fun to try on items I would usually never pick up, and to also try shopping at different stores. It was helpful to see what worked and what didn't, and to change my approach towards shopping. I feel more confident in choosing clothes now and knowing what works well for my body.â€ Rachel

Styling-Shopping Session

I had a great morning with Lisa trying on clothes. I wandered around the shop first and found three possible outfits to try on, none of which were bought! Lisa found many options! Different colours and styles were tried on until we found the "just love" pile. My biggest lesson of the day... don't prejudge the clothes, try them on and you may be surprised! Thanks Lisa, Wendy
