Pasado’s Safe Haven is pleased to announce that we have been honored with a prestigious Top-Rated Award by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews about nonprofit organizations. This is the second year in a row we have received this award – Pasado’s Safe Haven was also recognized as a top-rated nonprofit by GreatNonprofits in 2013.
The Top-Rated Nonprofit award was based on the large number of positive reviews that Pasado’s Safe Havenreceived – reviews written by you - our volunteers, donors and clients. While the Top-Rated Awards run through the end of October, Pasado’s Safe Havenwas part of the inaugural group to qualify for the year. In addition, we’ll be added to GreatNonprofits #GivingTuesday Guide—an interactive guide to top nonprofits throughout the years. Look for this near the holidays.

Feral Cat Day
In honor of National Feral Cat Day on October 16th, we will be performing FREE spay/neuter surgeries on all cats (feral or domestic) at our South King County mobile spay station courtesy of Community Cat Coalition. The Community Cat Coalition is also providing free vaccines and flea treatment for all animals that are admitted for surgery. Make your reservations now as space is limited.

Little Fawn loves to bounce up and down just a like a spry deer. She has a funny little bark that sometimes sounds just like “ruff!” “ruff!”. She loves to lick your fingers and be pet by her human friends. More
Summer is a well-mannered, incredibly smart horse. She is a bay-colored thoroughbred who was raced a few times when she was three-years-old. She was rescued from extreme neglect where she was literally starving to death. With the love and care of the Pasado’s staff, she has completely recovered into a handsome, healthy horse. More
Happy Endings
September was a busy month for adoptions and we are thrilled to announce that Rusty, all of the Fab Five, and Drew Kitty (among many others) were adopted this month. We would like to wish very happy lives to all of the new families!
