New Testing Services:
AVS, CrES, WAS-Fe, SAS Fe, Bioavailable Iron

PRIMA now offers an array of mineral analyses that can be used to assess natural attenuation of petroleum hydrocarbons and natural or engineered attenuation of chlorinated compounds.  These analyses are
  • Acid Volatile Sulfide (AVS)
  • Chromium Extractable Sufldie (CrES)
  • Weak Acid Soluble Ferrous and Ferric Iron (WAS Iron)
  • Strong Acid Soluble Ferrous and Ferric Iron (SAS Iron)
  • Bioavailable Ferric Iron, developed by CDM Smith, Bellevue Washington
Knowledge of iron sulfide minerals and biologically reducible iron in soil and sediment supports Aqueous and Mineral Intrinsic Bioremediation Assessment (AMIBA) and Biogeochemical Reductive Dechlorination (BiRD) assessment.

Please visit our website for more information about these analyses and how the data may be used.

Consulting Services

PRIMA Environmental provides technical support and consulting services related to the application and effects of in situ remediation technologies.  Let us help you understand the chemicals you use to treat the chemicals at your site.  Visit our website for more information.
