Ameerah Haq, the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Sudan will share her inspiring story of involvement with the United Nations Development Programme. Brief presentations on the 2009 Parliament of the World’s Religions and Amnesty International’s Darfur Campaign will also highlight the evening.

This event will feature an interactive art exhibit, Displaced, a traveling installation that will guide you through four themed refugee experiences: Conflict in Darfur, Flight and Displacement, Life in a Displacement Camp, and Toward a Solution. Placards, photographs, maps and handouts form the core content of each theme.
