End of the Year
- The last ESL class will take place on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving week (Tuesday, November 18th). The BLC will continue to be open year-round so tutors are free to continue working with their students as long as they're here.
- We'll have an end of year celebration/Thanksgiving dinner towards the end of November. The date is to be determined but all volunteers are invited to attend. Details will be provided in our next Weekly Minute.
- Sherry will be contacting current volunteers to set up meetings in order to get end-of-year feedback and ideas on how to improve our volunteers' experience.

Financial Counselor
Financial counseling will be offered on Wednesday evenings, starting Wednesday, October 22nd through Wednesday Nov. 19th, from 5:30 - 7 pm. Please refer any students who could benefit from this service. The financial counselor can help students obtain ITIN numbers, establish credit, etc.

Last Language Exchange of 2014
Our last language exchange will take place next Wednesday, October 22nd from 6:30 - 8 pm. We'll speak in Spanish for half the time and English for half the time. All volunteers are welcome to attend. Bring any friends or family members who would have an interest in practicing Spanish while helping someone else learn English. Please let us know if you plan on attending as we'll have food at the event.
