As many of you know, a big part of what we (want to) do is teach you things. How to make things. How to do things. We want to be a place where people can come and learn, and share, and create and build. Boiseans still seems a little suspicious of this--but trust us: it is a thing being done.
So we carved a space out of the store where we can sit down, spread out and go nuts. OK, technically it's just a couple tables and a bunch of chairs. But potentially it's so much more. We realize that we've never quite spelled it out like this, but you guys: this space is your space.
VERY ABBREVIATED LIST OF POSSIBILITIES:
- Attend a class // ignite a new passion
- Push yourself out of your creative comfort zone
- Rub elbows (literally, the chairs are very close together) with people who share the same interests
- Share YOUR skill/craft/passion/artform and teach a class
- Host an intimate gathering (baby shower/birthday party/book club, etc) during which you make things together
- Come hang out during business hours and use our wifi and work on your computer
- Rent the space to hold a top secret meeting
So there it is. The workshop at Bricolage is available. And anything is possible!
