The next Honors Salon is...

featuring Dr. Jean-Pierre Taoutel on October 17 (note the date change!)  World Languages and Cultures (and repeat Honors seminar instructor) professor Jean-Pierre Taoutel will be joining us on  the 17th.  Dr. Taoutel has taught Honors seminars on conflicts in the Middle East, human rights issues that go unnoticed, French culture, and activism.  As always, Honors Salons are 3:10pm on Fridays in the Jischke Lounge.

AND THEN...

Iowa State's 15th President, Dr. Steven Leath will be the Salon guest on Friday afternoon, October 24.  President Leath won't be the only guest, however: he will be bringing his dog, Quill!  This is an incredibly unique opportunity to hear our university's president discuss topics that are more personal than presidential. Among other topics, President Leath (and Quill) will chat with students about his unique hobbies like flying, outdoor sports, and owning a Christmas tree farm.  See you at 3:10pm on the 24th!

Meanwhile, in FHP...

FHP sections have been busy with speakers, tours, and service learning brainstorming.  Next week, though...the degree program assignment!
